The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation has a new Fifteen in Fifteen initiative to encourage charitable donations through wills, trusts, or other estate planning vehicles. The Foundations is Fifteen years old and we're inviting Fifteen couples or individuals to make a planned gift to any current or new fund(s) at the Community Foundation by the end of 2010. We have begun a Fifteen in Fifteen Tree where a leaf turns green for every couple or individual that has created a planned gift with us. The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation put on a series of FREE seminars about Dealing with Retirement in Uncertain Times. The seminars were held at the Grand Rapids Area Library on September 15, 2009 9:00-12:00 and September 22, 2009 3:00-6:00. Area professionals presented on various topics that affect retirement.
