You’re invited to attend our free Estate Planning Seminar on Wednesday, September 30, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Grand Rapids Area Library. The event is open to the public and will feature local professionals sharing practical guidance on estate planning, financial planning, and charitable giving. Space is limited and advanced registration is encouraged.

Whether you are creating a plan for the first time or reviewing an existing one, the seminar will provide straightforward information to help you better understand their options and take the next step toward protecting their future. You will have the opportunity to learn about wills, trusts, probate avoidance, powers of attorney, and other important estate planning considerations. The seminar will also explore how financial planning and estate planning work together, as well as how charitable giving can become part of a lasting legacy.

The program will feature presentations from Robert Dolan, attorney with Dolan Law, PLLC; Guy Clairmont, financial planner with Clairmont and McBride Financial; and Mindy Nuhring, Executive Director of the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation. Together, they will provide you with practical information and answer questions about the planning process

“Estate planning is about more than preparing legal documents. It’s about creating peace of mind for yourself and your loved ones while ensuring your values and priorities are reflected in the future,” said Mindy Nuhring, Executive Director of the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation. “We are excited to bring local experts together to help community members better understand the planning tools available to them and how they can use those tools to make a lasting impact.”

The free seminar will be held at the Grand Rapids Area Library, located at 140 2nd Street NE in Grand Rapids, on Wednesday, September 30, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. You can register online HERE or by contacting the Foundation at info@gracf.org or 218.999.9100.
