Nashwauk Area Community Fund Awards Spring Grants and Scholarships

The Nashwauk Area Community Fund (NACF) awarded $4,690 in spring 2025 grants to support four community projects, along with a $1,000 scholarship for Nashwauk-Keewatin High School (NKHS) student, Katelyn Kinkel. Grant recipients included the Keewatin Fire Department, which received $2,740 to purchase new tables

New Beginnings Pregnancy + Family Support gets boost from Seeds of Change grant

New Beginnings Pregnancy + Family Support was selected as one of three local organizations to receive funding from the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation’s Seeds of Change 2024 annual campaign. With the $2,000 New Beginnings received, they were able to purchase items for their boutiques.
