Thank you for donating to your community!

As a public charity, the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation has flexibility in accepting many types of donations: cash, online donations, stock, bonds, real estate and other personal real property. Philanthropy needn’t be complicated nor does it require great wealth. You can give in a way that’s convenient, financially comfortable and personally rewarding.

Types of Gifts

One of the many benefits of working with the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation is that we offer a variety of options for charitable giving.

Types of Funds

The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation manages over 250 charitable funds created by donors to support the causes that are important to them and to you.  You can establish your own fund or donate to an existing fund that matches your charitable intentions.

Planned Giving

Whatever you want your charitable legacy to be, it is possible through a planned gift.  Through thoughtful planning, you have the ability to create a permanent legacy that honors your interests and lets them live on forever.

Support Your Community

As a donor, you select the type of fund that best matches your charitable goals. You can either provide a gift to an existing fund or you can establish a new fund to help you achieve your philanthropic goals and to leave a personal legacy.
