Blandin Foundation and CommunityGiving Partner to Provide $25,000 Matching Fund Incentive
The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation is thrilled to announce its participation in a unique capacity-building initiative made possible through a partnership between CommunityGiving and the Blandin Foundation. This multi-year program is designed to strengthen rural community foundations and increase their ability to serve local communities for generations to come.
In the spring of 2025, the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation joined a select cohort of Minnesota community foundations to participate in year-long, subject-specific training sessions. These sessions provide valuable expertise and tools to enhance community impact. In addition, the Foundation is receiving individualized coaching and technical assistance from an experienced community foundation leader, ensuring tailored support throughout the process.
Upon successful completion of the program, the Foundation will receive $25,000 in unrestricted matching funds—an incredible opportunity to grow permanent philanthropic assets and expand grant-making right here in our community.
