Scholarship opportunity for trade/vocational students through May 30

Those who are a graduating high school senior or a graduate of high schools throughout Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin and meet the following requirements may be eligible for the Emberg Scholarship.  The Emberg Scholarship deadline has been extended through May 30, 2024.  Qualifications are that students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5; demonstrate good character, academic ability, and readiness; demonstrate financial need; and plan to attend full-time an accredited, vocational, technical or trade school located within Northeastern Minnesota or Northwestern Wisconsin area.  Students can be enrolled in any field of study.

Students applying need to be planning to attend, full time, one of the following schools:  Central Lakes College, Chippewa Valley Technical College, Fond du Lac Tribal & Community College, Hibbing Community College (MN North), Itasca Community College (MN North) , Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College, Lake Superior College, Leech Lake Tribal College, Mesabi Range Community College (MN North), Northcentral Technical College, Northwest Technical College, Northwood Technical College, Rainy River Community College (MN North), and Vermillion Community College (MN North).
