The Nashwauk Area Community Fund (NACF) had another great year of giving back in 2024, investing $33,600 in grants to support local initiatives and organizations. Through its spring and fall grant cycles, the NACF awarded funds to 18 different projects, including a spring grant total of $14,000 across seven grants and a fall total of $19,600 across eleven grants.
This latest round of funding brings NACF’s cumulative contributions to the Nashwauk area to over $350,000 since its founding in 2000. The fund’s continuous growth over the years reflects a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the Nashwauk community, supporting projects that range from infrastructure improvements to educational programs.
Serving the communities of Nashwauk, Nashwauk Township, Buck Lake, Pengilly, Swan Lake, Keewatin, and Goodland Township, NACF awards grants to 501(c)(3) and other qualifying not-for-profits. These grants fund local initiatives that benefit residents in ways both large and small, from fostering youth development to enhancing community resources.
