The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation is hosting an Open House during June’s First Friday Art Walk event on June 2, from 4-7pm at the Community Foundation. On display will be watercolor paintings by 20 different artists. The artists were all students in Diane Levar’s Windows into Watercolor classes in 2022-2023. The classes and the preparation for the exhibit were funded in part by a grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council.
There will also be live music by Ditty Wish, beverages and hors d’oeuvres. Please stop in and talk with staff, enjoy good food, art, music, and company. You will have the opportunity to donate to the Katherine T. Dodge Fund for the Arts, which supports nonprofit programs dedicated to the Arts in the Greater Itasca Area.
