The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation (GRACF) is having a Harvest Fun(d) Fest to help celebrate their 30th Anniversary and their Seeds of Change campaign which kicked off in the spring of 2024. Twenty-five local nonprofits applied to the Seeds of Change campaign, and between June 7th and August 2nd, community members voted for their favorite nonprofit from the pool of applicants. Over 800 community members voted, and the top three nonprofits were: Boys and Girls Club of Grand Rapids/Greenway, Great Tails Animal Rescue, and New Beginnings Pregnancy + Family Support. Each of these nonprofits will receive $500 from GRACF to create a marketing video, which will be featured at the Harvest Fun(d) Fest and available to the nonprofit for future use. The Harvest Fun(d) Fest is Friday, October 11, 2024, at Barn in the Woods, Bovey, Minnesota.

On the night of the Fun(d) Fest, attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite nonprofit and the winner(s) will be announced and celebrated during the event. Doors open at 5:15pm and there will also be dinner and live music by The Beat.

Donations made to the Seeds of Change campaign will support the three nonprofits mentioned above, as well as ensure the long-term sustainability of GRACF and its continued investment in the community.
