For the last three years, Nashwauk-Keewatin High School (NKHS) has not had a cheerleading program. With the help from a Nashwauk Area Community Fund grant, NKHS will be able to start rebuilding the cheerleading program at the high school. They will utilize the grant to help fund a trip to cheerleading camp to build skills and to assist families with costs and gear that they might not be able to purchase on their own.  The hope is to inspire more students to join NKHS cheerleading, which is an integral part of school spirit and has a positive impact on the school community.
