Nashwauk Area Community Fund Awards Grant to Improve Accessibility at Keewatin Community Center
The Nashwauk Area Community Fund (NACF) has awarded a $3,000 grant to the City of Keewatin to enhance accessibility at the Keewatin Community Center. The funds will be used to install an electric handicap door opener, ensuring that all residents, including those with mobility
Adam Johnson Memorial Scholarship: A Legacy of Excellence
Adam Johnson grew up playing hockey in Hibbing, Minnesota, and his talent and dedication took him to the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD), where he served as an assistant captain. He later played professionally, including with the Pittsburgh Penguins and other professional hockey leagues.
First Annual Eric Northard Memorial Travel Scholarship Awarded to GRHS Student
The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation is proud to announce the recipient of the first Eric Northard Memorial Travel Scholarship. Brennan Lane, a dedicated student at Grand Rapids High School (GRHS), has been awarded $500 to support his participation in the international travel program.
